End Connection Types

  2. Threaded (NPT) End: A tapered pipe thread connection. Ideal for smaller lines (within the specified size range) where welding is not preferred or for easier installation and maintenance.

  3. Butt Weld End: The valve end is beveled to match the pipe end, and a full-penetration weld is performed. This is the strongest connection, preferred for highest-pressure systems, high-temperature applications (like steam), and services where fugitive emissions must be minimized.
